Straight answers to the questions owners ask about the trial, the subscription, and seats. Billing is managed in Settings → Billing.
The trial
How long is the trial? Thirty days, starting when the workspace is created. No credit card is needed to start.
What do I get during the trial? The full product — every module is available. Your workspace admins decide which modules to switch on.
How do I know how long is left? A banner across the top of the app reads "N days left in your trial", and on the last day, "Your trial ends today". It includes a Subscribe link that goes straight to Billing.
Will anyone remind me before it ends? Yes. Workspace admins receive a reminder notification about three days before the trial ends, again about a day before, and again on the day it ends. Put the date in your calendar anyway: Diego at Northwoods Outfitters books a "decide on billing" slot one week before the end of the trial.
When the trial ends
What happens if I do nothing? The workspace is locked until someone subscribes. People who sign in see a "Your trial has ended" page with a Subscribe button, and the rest of the app is blocked. The page states that nothing has been touched: every project, contact, and document stays exactly where you left it, and your data is not deleted while you decide. Anyone who belongs to another workspace can switch to it from the same page.
Can I still reach Billing while locked? Yes. Billing and checkout stay available so that someone with permission to manage the workspace can subscribe. Once checkout completes, access returns.
Subscribing
How do I upgrade today? Someone with workspace management access opens Settings → Billing and selects Subscribe. This opens a secure checkout hosted by our payment provider. When it completes, the workspace is on the paid plan and the trial banner disappears.
How do I change my card, see invoices, or cancel? After you subscribe, the same button on the Billing page becomes Manage subscription, which opens the billing portal.
What does the Billing page show? The plan name and price, your current seat count, the price per additional seat, any overage, any discount applied, the estimated monthly total, workspace storage, and audit log retention.
Who can see Billing? People whose role includes workspace management, normally owners and admins. Others see a message asking for tenant management access.
Price and seats
What does it cost? One flat plan: $200 per month covers up to 10 users, and each additional user is $15 per month. Every module is included.
What counts as a seat? Each active member of the workspace. Advisors — outside consultants or coaches invited with the advisor role — do not count toward the billable seat total. Removed members stop counting.
What happens when I add an 11th user? Nothing breaks and nothing needs approval. Your subscription adds the extra seat charge going forward; there is no hard cap.
Is there a discount for non-profits and schools? Verified non-profits and education organisations are offered 50% off. Contact the sales team to apply.
Payment problems and suspension
What if a payment fails? A warning banner appears: "We couldn't process your latest payment. Update your billing details to avoid losing access." You can dismiss it, but fix the card from Manage subscription. If the payment is not recovered and the subscription goes unpaid, the workspace is locked with the message "We couldn't charge your card" and a button to update the payment method.
What if I cancel? When a subscription ends, the workspace shows "Your subscription ended". Your data is still there, and you can restore access from the billing portal.
Is a suspended workspace the same thing? No. A trial that has ended, a cancelled subscription, and a failed payment are billing locks that you resolve yourself at Billing. A suspended workspace is one that a platform administrator has deactivated. People see "Workspace suspended" and are asked to contact their workspace owner or the support team. You cannot fix a suspension from the Billing page.
